Clinical Aromatherapy Overview
Certifications
Completion of Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy's Professional or Mastery Programs exceeds the educational requirements and certifications of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) for the member designation of Professional Aromatherapist.

We offer three different options to complete these required hours:

Clinical Aromatherapy Level 1 (50 hours) and the option of three-five different Clinical Aromatherapy Level 2 Modules - (50-hours each).

Clinical Aromatherapy Professional Program (200 hours) This program includes the Clinical Aromatherapy Level 1 and three of the Clinical Aromatherapy Level 2 Modules.

Clinical Aromatherapy Mastery Program (300 hours) This program includes the Clinical Aromatherapy Level 1 and five of the Clinical Aromatherapy Level 2 Modules.
A certificate diploma and transcript from Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy will be presented upon completion of the course lessons, case studies, research paper, and written or practical test. Graduating students that have completed a minimum of 200 hours will be qualified to be a Professional Member of NAHA, AIA, and to take the national exam of the Aromatherapy Council for the designation of Registered Aromatherapist (RA).

The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy Council and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists are the organizations that have set the Approved Standards for Aromatherapy Training and Schools in the USA. Please note that currently there is no state or national governmental agency in the USA that governs the professional licensing of Aromatherapists.
School Certification - NAHA
All Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy aromatherapy courses and programs are approved by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Our school and professional aromatherapy training have been approved since 2002.
School Certification - AIA
All Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy aromatherapy courses and programs are approved by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). 
Our school and professional aromatherapy training have been approved since 2015.
School Certification - NCBTMB
All courses from Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy are approved for massage therapy continuing education (CEUs) by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). We have been an approved continuing education provider since 2002, #389177-00.
