Aromatherapy Certification Level 1 (50 hours)

Designed for the health professional, retailer, and layperson with an interest in the uses and applications of essential oils and hydrosols in a safe and effective manner. This course provides a detailed and comprehensive study of aromatherapy and will give you confidence in aromatherapy foundation and blending.

This is a stand-alone course and the first course for either the professional or mastery programs.

• Lesson 7- Stress Physiology, Interactions of essential oils with the body, mind, and emotions.
• Lesson 8- Carrier Oils for 23 different carriers.
• Lesson 9- Aromatic Botany
• Lesson 10- Materia Aromatica for 20 essential oils
• Lesson 11: Therapeutic Blending; Contraindications and precautions of essential oils;
Uses and applications of essential oils, carrier oils, and hydrosols; Blending factors; Therapeutic index for cross-referencing ten case studies for multiple conditions to create personalized aromatherapy formulas.
• Lesson 12- Essential Oil Chemistry

To complete for certificate diploma: 12 written course lessons, create ten aromatherapy formulas (case studies) for therapeutic use, and a written test.
There is one year to complete this course; most students finish it in three-six months. Upon the completion of this program, graduates can join NAHA as a Certified Level 1 Aromatherapists.
